DANIEL ZAMALLOA with Edmond Badoux Back
This dance is performed during the Virgen del Rosario festival in Huamantanga, province of Canta, in the Lima highlands. It portrays the ancient warriors that come out to pay their respects to the Virgin Mary of the Rosary. They perform a choreography at the house of some devout worshiper or in the streets.
